I was on vacation with the family when we decided to go hiking in the mountains. Some local hikers suggested a starting point, and we kind of just went with it. OMG, a couple of grueling hours later, we reached the top. Climbing that mountain was physically one of the hardest things I have ever done. It was also fun and one of my all-time best vacation memories! When we reached the top, I realized that I had climbed the same mountain that lived on my vision board a few years earlier. The way the universe brought me to that place was magical.
Then there was the time I was in Washington, DC, on yet another family vacation. It was cold and raining off and on throughout our entire visit, but the trees were blooming, and it was beautiful. The first time I knew I wanted to visit DC during cherry blossom season was in my early thirties. Still, getting off from work during that time was impossible, and very expensive to travel to DC during high season. I could not see my life beyond the present time before me and just figured it would never be possible. Yet here I was, another deep desire realized.
Our lives are like a trail of synchronicities that happen when we release control and allow flow to happen. Seeing my life through the observer’s lens, I set the intention and then let it go. That is when the magic happens, and the beauty of my life unfolds.
